House Managers

Friendly, customer-facing role. Ensure the safety and well-being of the patrons in the space; prepare the theatre for patrons and coordinate their seating; address patron concerns, report issues to the Venue Manager each day; make pertinent announcements to patrons; report the house count for each performance; work with stage managers to turn the house over on schedule. Report to Venue Manager; direct reports include volunteer ushers.

Venue Managers

In charge of the overall running of designated Festival venue, which may include more than one stage, including opening and closing the venue. Understand all venue specifications and rules. Problem solve for any issues that arise with staff, productions, or patrons in their venue. Should be able to assist in a technical capacity as needed. Report to Patron Services Manager; direct reports include House Managers and Volunteer Leads.

Box Office Associates

Provide friendly, excellent customer service to patrons. Will need to have comprehensive knowledge of festival shows in order to actively promote them. Able to work under pressure; able to execute effective and efficient sales via Vendini, over the phone and in person (training in Vendini will be provided); responsible for accurately processing payments on the ticketing system. Report to Box Office Hub Manager.

Box Office Hub Managers

Oversee Box Office staff and ensure the smooth functioning of ticket sales at designated hub; supervise processing of all hub transactions and provide an accurate accounting of ticket sales; act as friendly customer service ‘face’ of the festival; will become familiar with Vendini and the technology necessary for ticket sales. Report to Patron Services Manager; direct reports include Box Office Associates.
