SHOW SYNOPSIS & details
as submitted by the artist(s)
In the ancient bardic tradition, heroes such as Odysseus and Beowulf were immortalized through a mixture of storytelling and song, performed in mead-halls to a captive audience who could probably recite the whole thing themselves. Tales from the Bard aims to find new heroes among us worthy of such epic treatment. In every performance, with help from his willing audience, The Bard will spin a new tale of heroism about one member of the audience that will have you singing along by the end. Based on Homeric traditions and modern musical sensibilities, this improvised storytelling adventure will immerse you in the ancient history of theatre while creating a brand new legend to live on long after the show is over.
