SHOW SYNOPSIS & details
as submitted by the artist(s)
Debbie has a lot of White friends who have claimed her as their Black friend. Yet, during a time of aggressive push for racial equity, most of her White friends are now just seeing and experiencing her as a Black person. Working to close the distance created by the systems between them, they begin a journey of accepting each other as fully human — in their struggles and gifts alike. To My White Friends Who Know Me is a call to commitment to the work of solidarity and being amazing humans for each other.
