SHOW SYNOPSIS & details

With his crisp, charismatic performance, brain injury survivor Lethan Candlish engages the audience using clear, eloquent, honest narration that shares the maze of loneliness, fear, and identity reconstruction that is part of brain trauma. With an expanded story that pulls from interviews with fellow survivors, friends, and family members, Lethan performs as seven distinct characters, each sharing a unique experience with common threads that weave this verbal collage into a dramatic arc. This piece presents the real experience of recovery as seen from multiple perspectives - blending difficult moments of confusion and struggle with joyous moments of humor and self-appreciation.
