It is 1946, Hollywood is in its Golden Age and Margot Leroy is on a press tour for her breakout role in Jane Eyre when she meets journalist F. Sinclair. This chance encounter between the two successful women changes the course of their life.
Over the next decade we follow Margot and Florence as they peel off from the crowd navigating their ever changing relationship. They discuss their desires, needs, and fears while trying to escape the prying eyes of the unforgiving world that surrounds them.
Inspired by the stories of queer individuals during the Golden Age of Hollywood, Our Souls Did Touch begs the question: how much are you willing to give up to be remembered?
