Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Weaving personal experiences with the epic history of the chicken, birdbrain uncovers old questions and forgotten chapters of the long relationship between bird and human. Through vignettes, image and dance, this solo performance draws on the creative team’s combined experience in South Carolina and Lima, Peru to bring a global perspective to the world’ most populous bird.
