SYNOPSIS
It’s wild how quickly and easily our voices can be taken away. We post something on social media, only to watch it disappear hours later— our content pulled, our photos hidden, our thoughts and warnings unseen, or even worse, we’re banned from platforms and institutions without a trace. Left fumbling in the dark without information.
For this year’s Borderlight Festival, convergence-continuum invites writers to explore what happens in the shadows. What thrives in the places we’re afraid to lurk? What grows unnoticed, where eyes can’t see, and what monsters or creatures dwell there? What comes out of the dark? Join us for From the Shadows, a monologue event from convergence-continuum.
Remember: it's chilly in the shadows... might want to bring a pair of cute winter boots.
Produced by convergence-continuum (this will be a collection of playwrights.)
