SYNOPSIS

Join Paterson Joseph, author of the acclaimed novel The Secret Diaries of Charles Ignatius Sancho for a two-part workshop on the art and craft of writing historical fiction. This hybrid workshop will start with one session via Zoom and a second session in-person with the author at the Cleveland Public Library's Louis Stokes Wing.

Mr. Joseph will discuss finding inspiration in historical people and events, how the past can shed light on current social issues, and provide practical tools for bringing the past to life on the page. He will also do an author Q&A after the in-person workshop.

This workshop is for writers of all levels.
